Locked and LoadedMichigan CPL classes in Westland, taught by an instructor who took the same class as a complete beginner.
About Locked and Loaded
Locked and Loaded runs concealed pistol license classes at Firing Line Westland on Ford Road. One day, classroom in the morning and live fire in the afternoon, with the coaching split up so nobody has to keep pace with the rest of the room.
Most people who sign up have never fired a pistol. That is the class we built. Michigan law gets the most classroom time because it is the part students are least sure about, and the range portion is run one on one so you can take the repetitions you need.
Pavel Blinderman
Owner and chief instructor
In his own words: my first time ever shooting a firearm was taking my CPL class, as I never grew up around firearms, and shortly after it became an expensive hobby. Teaching safety and responsibility for current and future firearms owners is why I became a certified instructor.
Pavel holds these certifications:
- USCCA Certified Firearms Instructor
- Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals
- Range Safety Officer
- Countering the Mass Shooter Threat
- Handgun Safety and Marksmanship Fundamentals
- Trauma IRT Certified
- CPR, AED and First Aid Certified
He also carries instructor liability insurance and concealed carry insurance.
